| Jaccqueline Jung encourages community service activities which
primarily supports women, children and the elderly,
located in the city or province of Rome. AWAR privileges
those organizations which meet the purpose of the
Association to promote understanding between Italy and
the United States and offers financial aid as
indicated in the annual Association budget. Jacqueline
writes regularly for The AWAR Forum and informs
the membership of the many volunteer possibilities
available. Some would include: reading in English;
collecting toys for Santa Claus, wrapping them and
helping with a children's party and an English
language teacher. Through this chair a conduit is formed
through which interested members can offer personal
volunteer assistance. Please talk with Jacqueline to
discover more possibilities in the Rome area. Jacqueline's two-year,
elected, volunteer term expires in June 2009. |
