| The
Constitution & By-laws/Parliamentarian Chair, Martha Neundorfer, is appointed by the President and
as a member of the Board, regularly attends Board meetings. She works with the
President and First Vice President in updating AWAR's Practices
& Guidelines by ensuring that motions passed
during the Association year are duly reflected within the
text. When the Board deems it necessary to undertake
amendments, she prepares the text of revisions to the
Constitution & By-laws for approval of the Board and
for presentation to the general membership for its vote.
As Parliamentarian, Martha advises the President and
Executive Board on parliamentary procedure and sees that
meetings are conducted in accordance with the provisions
of the Constitution & By-laws and, when not
specifically stated there, by Robert's Rules of Order.
Martha's
one-year, non-voting, appointed, volunteer term expires in June 2008.
