Beth Sanders

 

 

Beth Sanders' first responsibility is to help and support the President. She assists the President as hostess at social gatherings and helps with the orientation of new Board members. She acts as a sounding board for the Board members and keeps the President informed of their problems and concerns. She is involved with the details of running the Association and making decisions with the President. Beth is responsible for the operation of the AWAR office including the volunteers who staff it, maintaining files (Board minutes and committee reports), and keeping the office supplied. She contacts by note those members with an event in their life: birth, illness, death. Beth is also a part of the committee that updates AWAR's Practices & Guidelines which is distributed to the incoming Board. Beth's one-year, elected, volunteer term expires in June 2009.
