| Greta Gautier is responsible
for planning the venues for nine general meetings,
October through June. Greta must consider the type of
function, the location, its access to public
transportation, and the size of the room. She decides on
a menu, negotiates for all services required and works
with the maitre 'd in supervising the results. She
must also arrange for a guest speaker, including placing
a notice of the event in The AWAR Forum
and introduce the speaker that day. Greta arranges for
name tags for everyone, place cards for the head table
and an appropriate gift for the guest speaker. Greta's two-year,
elected, volunteer term expires in June
2010. |
