Hosted by an AWAR member, these free monthly gatherings give us a chance to see our friends and meet new ones, too. Whether we meet in a city apartment or in a country garden setting, just the right atmosphere is created to enjoy our time together. We bring a sweet or savoury for the table and inevitably leave with a new recipe, a new friend or both!
Wine and cheese are an important part of the art of Italian culture and cuisine. These casual evenings feature members proposing their favorites. Husbands and partners often join the congenial company for a relaxed night out among friends.
Community-wide gala events are organized each year to raise funds for our community service and scholarship programs. Held at some of Rome's most exclusive venues, these evenings provide a rewarding combination of elegant enjoyment and community benefit.A theme characterizes the events. Some of those held in the past include Moonlight and Roses, Roman Holiday, Secret Garden, Sentimental Journey, Support the Children, and Power of Flowers.
