Julia Griner will host a basket weaving demo by local artisan Zi Bruno (more info here) at her home outside Montopoli di Sabina. There may be hands-on work, depending on time and the wishes of the participants. A homemade lunch will be served... pasta fresca made by Julia, salad, cheese, and wine.
How to get there: Take the train to Poggio Mirteto and Julia can pick up 3 people arriving at 9.30am (it's the FCO-Orte line). A carpool from Rome may also be arranged.
Cost: 25 euros (a donation to Bruno the teacher and a contribution to cover lunch costs) to be paid directly to Julia at the event.
