This special evening is open to AWAR members, friends, families, and guests. Everyone is welcome to join in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
For many in our community, Thanksgiving is a cherished time to reflect on the blessings in our lives and to express gratitude for the friendships that sustain us while living far from home. It also reminds us of the unique bond between Italy and the United States that enriches our experiences and sense of belonging here in Rome.
We invite you to share an evening of good food, conversation, and connection as we give thanks together.
Buffet Dinner Menu
Antipasto
Stuffed turkey
Gravy and cranberry sauce Mixed sides: vegetables, green beans, mixed salads, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes Pumpkin pie
Wine, Beverages, and Coffee Still and sparkling water, white and red wine, followed by coffee.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please indicate any dietary preferences when signing up so that we can inform the restaurant in advance.
Cost: €50 per person for members, €55 for non-members, €25 per child

Transportation
A private shuttle service will be available after dinner only to ensure everyone gets home safely and comfortably. A contribution of €5 per person applies towards transportation. This fee is not included in the event cost and will be collected on the night of the event.
To register for the shuttle, please email Araceli (Sally) Cardenas, AWAR Events Chair, at events@awar.org and include your home address.
The deadline to sign up and arrange transportation is Monday, November 17. Late requests cannot be accommodated, as all arrangements must be finalized in advance. We also encourage carpooling among members as it’s a great way to connect with others in the AWAR community who live nearby.
