For our Taste the World lunches, we'll meet on the second Thursday of each month to try a new restaurant with an international flavor.

Come walk with fellow AWAR members in support of breast cancer awareness and research. You can register to be on our team, "Race with AWAR-ness," through this link on the Komen Italia website.

AWAR team members will meet prior to the 10:00 am race time and walk together. A chat group will be created for registered members to stay connected.

If you are unable to attend on Sunday, check out the Race Village at Circo Massimo from Thursday, May 8 until Sunday, May 11. There are a number of planned sports activities, a center for kids and family, free screening and medical consultations, speakers, presentations, shows, and exhibitions. The AWAR Film Club will meet online to discuss The Residence, an 8-part series on Netflix about a death in the White House and the resulting investigation.

Mark your calendars for a very special lunch on Monday, May 26. We'll be partnering with the American International Club to honor and remember those who have served. 

We will gather for lunch at 1:00 pm, and then attend the official ceremony at 4:00 pm. Members will be responsible for their own transportation. Regional trains to Nettuno depart regularly from Termini Station.
